These charges can really drive up costs. Here is some insight into the aircraft management business,
including a few tips about things to watch out for.
Aircraft management companies offer a turn key service especially beneficial to a
one aircraft owner which includes the following: flight crew selection,
training and human resource services, maintenance oversight, fiscal budgeting
and asset management, flight crew standardization, FAA regulatory oversight
and compliance, crew scheduling and flight following and, if desired, charter sales.
If you are operating your own aircraft, you may not be taking advantage of the
many benefits that come with placing your aircraft under the supervision of a
professional aircraft management company.
One of the biggest cost benefits is that an aircraft management company can often reduce
your overhead through sharing office personnel, volume discounts on fuel, insurance,
crew training, flight handling, and maintenance costs.
The collective expertise of an aircraft management company can translate into greater safety,
lower costs, fewer headaches, greater efficiency, and all without the burden of
administrative, operational, and human resource issues. There is also the added
layer of liability protection by increasing the distance between the owner and the
operation of the aircraft.
At The Whitewind Company we feel we are able to offer a higher level of customer
service because we are a small group of professionals with an intense desire to
get the job done regardless of obstacles. Safety is our number one priority and
is never compromised.
You will be assigned one customer service person that will act as your personal
assistant. He or She will be your single point of contact to book trips, schedule
crews, arrange ground transportation, helicopters, catering and keep the crew
informed of any changes to your itinerary throughout your trip.
In addition, our Managerial staff is always available to answer your questions,
concerns or provide industry advice to help maximize the value and efficiency of
your asset.
Our exceptional attention to detail and follow up leaves little if anything to chance. You can rest assured that nothing will fall though the cracks.
The Whitewind Company currently operates one Global Express, three Challenger 604's, one Bell 430 helicopter plus a twin Cessna aircraft which is primarily used to reposition crewmembers.
Many of our pilots and maintenance technicians previously worked for Bombardier. We also have extensive experience and qualified pilots for the Challenger 600, 601, Westwind II and King Air Aircraft.
At the present time we have a few select openings for a Challenger, Gulfstream or Global managed aircraft. We also have an immediate opening for a King Air 200 aircraft.
